Apparently a number of flashes went off at once, hence the unique and serendipitous lighting effect. I love how it looks like I have at least three hands.

Back from Fencon, where the Unseelie Faerie won "Most Beautiful Costume" in the Masquerade. I went to a number of writing panels, one costume panel, and a bunch of filk concerts. The problem with invisible thread is that you can't see it.

My EL wire finally came in, and I have one wing outlined. It's great stuff, and it's going to look fantastic. The only problem is, even though I measured carefully before ordering, I think I'm going to be about 6" short. Damn, damn, damn.

It was one year ago yesterday that I finished the Lizgown! The costuming this year has been pretty sparse, but I am planning on bringing the Unseelie Faerie outfit to Fencon. Now to find a box big enough to ship the wings...
